Assault on ONE-SIX-SEVEN
This is 4 weeks of one meal a day.
4 aggressive weeks.
I’m going to do the best I can to get to 167 lbs.
168 lbs is the lowest body weight I’ve ever achieved on this diet and I’m interested to see if I can get back there again — and then push on and hit 167 — in just 4 weeks.
This is what I looked like the last time at 168:
In truth I’m less worried about the number. My true goal is to regain the same body composition. This means losing fat but retaining muscle.
I liked how I looked at that weight and I felt great too, so that’s what I’m aiming for again.
I’ll provide a brief daily update for the next 4 weeks, along with photographs and measurements every Saturday.
This is still about me eating whatever my family eats for the evening meal, but I’m going to drop dessert. Instead of a dessert I plan to finish my meal with a cookie, or a toffee or some other sweet treat like a piece of chocolate. That way I get to feel like I’ve still eaten what I want to eat, but I don’t need to take in nearly as many calories.
As far as diet adherence is concerned, if I had to do this for anything longer than 4 weeks I’d probably struggle. But because it’s a short period of time, I feel like it’s an exciting challenge.
I’ll still eat a piece of fruit if I’m genuinely hungry, and I’ll still drink tea and coffee (with whole milk and 1 sugar) throughout the day.
I’ll continue to do 100 bodyweight exercises every day, along with two 30 minute walks as usual.
I’m not going to change the portion size of my meal, and I’ll continue to eat the same variety of food.
At the end of my last phase of dieting (during which I lost 10 lbs over six weeks) I took a week off from the diet, and — I got back up from 175.2 lbs to 179.6 lbs!
Assault on ONE-SIX-SEVEN starts with me tipping the scale at very bloated 178.8 lbs.
Go check out the daily updates.
